The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology is a Division
within the American Psychological Association (APA) that is also an organizational affiliate of the Association for Psychological Science (APS). The
Society's mission is to enhance human well-being and performance in
organizational and work settings by promoting the science, practice,
and teaching of industrial-organizational psychology. "Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychology
is the scientific study of the workplace. Rigor and methods of
psychology are applied to issues of critical relevance to business,
including talent management, coaching, assessment, selection, training,
organizational development, performance, and work-life balance." -

Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world’s largest
association devoted to human resource management. Representing more
than 250,000 members in over 140 countries, the Society serves the
needs of HR professionals and advances the interests of the

The South Bay Organizational Development Network (SBODN) is an informal forum focused on making a difference in how organizations
